Perhatian Saudara/Saudari kepada perkara di atas adalah dirujuk.
Sehubungan dengan itu adalah diingatkan bahawa semua mahasiswa universiti
dilarang sama sekali melibatkan diri dalam sebarang aktiviti haram sepertimana termaktub dalam Akta Institusi-Institusi Pelajaran (Tatatertib) (Pindaan ) 2011, Akta A1375 Seksyen 10 (1), (2) dan (5) manakala kakitangan universiti di bawah Seksyen 3 (1) dan (2) (d), Bahagian II, Akta Badan-Badan Berkanun (Tatatertib dan Surcaj) 2000, Akta 605.
Akta Institusi-Institusi Pelajaran (Tatatertib) (Pindaan) 2011, Akta A1375, Seksyen 10 (1) -
“
A student of an Institution may become a member of any society, organization, body or group of persons, whether or not, it is established under any written law, whether it is in or outside the Institution, and whether it is in or outside Malaysia, other than-
(a) any political party, whether in or outside Malaysia;
(b) any unlawful organization, body of group of persons, whether in or outside Malaysia; or
(c) any organization, body or group of persons which the Minister, after consultation with the Executive Head, has specified in writing to the Executive Head to be unsuitable to the interests and well-being of the students or the Institution.”
Akta Institusi-Institusi Pelajaran (Tatatertib) (Pindaan) 2011, Akta A1375, Seksyen 10 (2)-
“An organization, body or group of students of an Institution which is established by, under or in accordance with this Act, may have any affiliation, association or other dealing with any society, organization, body or group or persons, whether or not is is established under any written law, whether it is in or outside the Institution, and whether it is or outside Malaysia, other than-
(a) any political party, whether in or outside Malaysia;
(b) any unlawful organization, body of group of persons, whether in or outside Malaysia; or
(c) any organization, body or group of persons which the Minister, after consultation with the Executive Head, has specified in writing to the Executive Head to be unsuitable to the interests and well-being of the students or the Institution”.
Akta Institusi-Institusi Pelajaran (Tatatertib) (Pindaan) 2011, Akta A1375, Seksyen 10 (5)-
“No student of an Institution and no organization, body or group of students of an Institution which is established by, under or in accordance with this Act, shall express or do anything which may reasonably be construed as expressing support for or sympathy or opposition to-
(a) any political party, whether in or outside Malaysia;
(b) any unlawful organization, body of group of persons, whether in or outside Malaysia; or
(c) any organization, body or group of persons which the Minister, after consultation with the Executive Head, has specified in writing to the Executive Head to be unsuitable to the interests and well-being of the students or the Institution.”
Seksyen 3 (1) Bahagian II Akta Badan-Badan Berkanun (Tatatertib dan Surcaj) 2000, Akta 605, Tatakelakuan -
“Seseorang pegawai hendaklah pada setiap masa memberikan taat setianya yang tidak berbelah bahagi kepada Yang Di Pertuan Agong , negara , Kerajaan dan badan berkanun”.
Seksyen 3 (2) Bahagian II Akta Badan-Badan Berkanun (Tatatertib dan Surcaj) 2000, Akta 605, Tatakelakuan
“Seseorang pegawai tidak boleh –
(d) berkelakuan dengan sedemikian cara sehingga memburukkan atau mencemarkan nama badan berkanun.”
Sehubungan dengan itu, semua mahasiwa universiti diminta mematuhi ketetapan ini dan sebarang pelanggaran terhadap mana-mana peruntukan di atas merupakan satu kesalahan serius dan boleh membawa kepada tindakan tatatertib di peringkat universiti dan juga di bawah peruntukan mana-mana undang-undang Malaysia yang sedang berkuatkuasa.
